The first adventure of 2019... took us long enough

After walking down a monstrous hill in the pouring rain for 45 minutes, Louise and I finally arrived at Warleigh Weir. 5 minutes later the rain stopped and the sun came out, making for a very funny story.

Last semester I had to programme a robot to navigate a room autonomously using only the onboard sensors. Check out the video section for a demo of Tyrone in action.

Last year Louise treated me to a wonderful adventure to Oslo. This picture was taken on the roof of the Opera house. Surprisingly you can walk up the side of the building all the way to the top.

It's been over a year now since Louise treated me to a weekend adventure to Venice, so I thought it seems fitting to post another Venice picture.

The Last Bridge to Bruges!

On the way to a sheep farm, we had to cross a very old looking bridge. Lucky the sun came out just an hour before so the reflections in the water are perfect. And yes, that is Louise on the bridge.

Helvellyn Base Camp!

Before we climbed Helvellyn mountain (before we regretted life itself), we came across a lovely waterfall. Unfortunately you can't see the waterfall in the picture but it's still a great photo.

Helvellyn Pitstop!

After accidentally climbing the third highest mountain in the Lake District, Louise and I decided to have a break. Fun fact, this is about 2/5 of the way to the top.

Snow Day!

Early this year during a snow day, Louise and I decided to make snowmen, something we hadn't done for a very long time. The snowman Louise is standing next to is called Fredrick Zoller, or just Zoller for short. Extra points if you can tell me the film without using Google :D

The Canals of Venice

For my 22nd birthday, Louise took me to Venice. This picture was taken next to one of the many canals that cut through the island.

The Cobbled Streets of Bruges

This picture was taken during mine and Louise's winter trip to the continent. After driving for about four hours in the rain, we arrived in the medieval town of Bruges.
